Perform an anti-liquefaction mitigation treatment
In Fos-sur-Mer, for the construction of a liquefied natural gas complex, Menard performed an anti-liquefaction mitigation treatment for the dock by increasing the embankment’s density using compaction grouting technique.
This was an innovative operation as the equipment used for this technique was the Controlled Modulus Columns equipment which led to a very high production. After a successful test program, more than 1,600 compaction grouting columns were installed.
The Menard group develops foundation solutions based on ground improvement and reinforcement technologies. Its treatments eliminate the need for the deep foundations traditionally used to support surface structures.
